2026 Conquering Kings Scholastic

The 2026 Conquering Kings Scholastic was a blast! With 57 competitors from across Alabama competition for trophies, medals, and bragging rights were steep, leading us to some fantastic games! From experienced veterans to first time challengers, every player came locked in, engaged, and ready to give it their very best.

Between rounds, students enjoyed battling it out on the giant chess board, testing themselves with notation and trivia quizzes, and spending time with friends, making the day just as fun off the board as it was on it.

We are especially grateful to our partners who make events like this possible. A big thank you to Forest Avenue Elementary and Principal Brandi Moody for hosting and for their continued support of youth chess.
